Its been almost three weeks, and things still don’t feel normal. Will they ever? I haven’t played hockey since it happened. I think a combination of the fact that I was on my way out the door, gear in hand to go play when I found out, and that Steve is the reason I started liking hockey in the first place. If he hadn’t played, who knows if I ever would have cared one way or the other… so, everytime I get ready to go, I just get upset and stay home, hopefully ill get over that soon… only 5 weeks of practice left before our games start, and I need all the practice I can get!
For the most part, things are ok. Ive been staying busy at work and really busy moving and unpacking. Thank god I am done moving!!! Now the question is will I unpack everything before its time to move again… what a pain! And I went to a party on Saturday, it was great. There was a huge bonfire in the back yard, and we rode around on the ATV’s, great fun. Too bad I cant do that every day…
Well, time to get back to work… |
